"Submitted for Zaar World Tour 2005. Michelada takes its name from a Spanish slang term for cold beer. The lime juice adds a nice zing to the beer whereas the Worcestershire and Tabasco add an interesting depth to the taste. From a special issue of Saveur called The Best of Tex-Mex Cooking."

"We had this last night down here in Mexico and it's WONDERFUL . . . so refreshing! Came right back to the boat and searched to find the recipe . . . it was here all along . . . duh, of course!!!!"
"I have been doing this for years its the best a little clamato is good to!"
"I made this with Pacifico -- it was delicious. I would never have thought of this combo, so thank you for posting!"
"DH loved Corona, I am not a big fan. I added this stuff to Corona, now I am a big fan. Thanks for ending the fued over which beer to buy. ZWT3"
"We did a bit of experimenting with this one. Decided we liked it best with Corona and by cutting the amount of lime juice in half, using 2 dashes of tabasco and 1 of worcestershire. Very refreshing on a hot day."
"I made this just as the recipe stated using a Corona...and I really liked it and I liked the worsteshire and lime in it. It kind of reminded me of a beer cooler/beer bloody mary...not sure if that makes sense, but I liked it and will certainly make again!"
"I was a little wary of the recipe but tried it in full. I tried it with a Corona (very good) and a XX dark (not good). It would probably work with other light beers. But take it from me, don't try this with any other beer..."
"I really thought we would like it. But no. It's too much lime juice. And worcestershire sauce and tabasco is not a good idea for us in a beer. I'm really sorry :( Made for ZWT 3"
"After reading the reviews I decided to leave out the Worcestershire sauce-just in case. We had a backyard get-together last night and this drink is what I welcomed them with. Most everybody had a second so that means it's an OK beer with the gang. ZWT3."
"I thought I'd like this better than what I did. I LOVE everything in it, but the worcestershire sauce kinda threw off my tastebuds! Also I forgot the ice! Darn it!!! My fault! It wasn't bad, but next time I'll just leave out the w-sauce. Thanks for posting something unique, though! :)"
"I love Corona and lime so I thought I would give this a try. I loved the salt! What a great twist. I didn't like the worcestershire sauce and tobasco sauce added to it. The ice wasn't bad and I usually don't like ice added to my beer - but this is Corona. ZWT3"
"Corona with lime is my "drink of choice", so I had to try this. I loved the lime juice (of course) and Tabasco; the worcestershire sauce.....not so much at all. It seemed very of out of place to me. I'd just skip the worcestershire and the ice next time. Thanx for sharing this!"
"This is an excellent drink! I only use about a tablespoon of lime juice and used Mich Ultra because that is what we had on tap and it is Low Carb. I use about double the amount of worchestershire and tabasco because it makes it so good! My favorite neighborhood Irish Pub now makes if for me when I walk in the door! Beer on ice..... who woulda thunk?"
"Well, this is a first - ice cubes in my beer! ;-) I wimped out and only added a few drops of Tabasco and Worcestershire sauce, but they do provide a nice spicy background for the zingy lime. Maybe my limes were particularly potent, but their taste came through a lot - this might be a drink even non - beer drinkers would enjoy! Thanks for posting!"
"Wow, Worcestershire and Tabasco in a beer? Yes, it was excellent!!! I would have never thought of that. Very good. Thanks for posting!"
"I dressed up my corona tonight and got some odd stares, but once everyone tried it... they wanted one too. I thought the combination of flavors was awesome! Thanks Kumquat!"
"I liked this but dh didn`t! This is so Texan! Beer kick up real BIG! But I think it wasthe lime and salt that did it for me. Ok maybe the worcestershire sauce too!"
"The worcestershire was a little strange in this. Left it out of the next beer and it was much better. Liked the spicy hit from the tabasco. DH didnt like it but he doesnt like me 'messin' with his beer! lol "
