"This is a pasta recipe I've been cooking forever. I've changed it slightly over the years, but it's basically the same sauce I've made since I was a teenager."

"Excellent. Super easy. Note: Recipe calls for grilled chicken. I didn't feel like separately grilling chicken, so I just sauteed my cut-up boneless skinless chicken breast in the the onion and garlic, took it out when it was cooked through (so it wouldn't overcook while I simmered the sauce a bit) and then added the tomatoes, sauce, basil, salt, etc. I did add some crushed red pepper. I added a little too much. My super-picky six-year old son loved it that way though!"
"I really enjoyed this. The sauce was nicely flavored. The second time I made it, I used a couple of tablespoons of capers and about 15 green olives sliced. I also had some shrimp I needed to use up, so I peeled those and put them in with the chicken too. I too used dried basil. The fresh doesn't yet have enough leaves!! I like the idea of a little red pepper. There are endless possibilities with this recipe. Thanks for posting."
"delicious! dad couldn't stop raving about it! served over whole wheat spaghetti instead of penne"
"This recipe was amazing and easy. For the pasta i used wheat penne and it still tasted great! I have already shared this recipe with a few of my friends!"
"Delicious! Thanks so much for posting. It was easy to make, and with oregano and a pinch of red pepper, there was just enough zing to it. I wish I had fresh parm. to grate overtop, as I imagine that would have brought out the flavor even more."
"This is a great recipe, rick! I made as is, except used the immersion blender on our can of tomatoes since we don't like large chunks! I added the oregano and the red pepper (maybe a little too much red pepper!) Was great, but next time I'll probably leave out the red pepper flakes. Served with whole wheat penne. Thanks for posting your recipe!"
"Fantastic! I sprinkled a good amount of Italian seasoning on the chicken breasts prior to grilling them. I realized when it was a bit late that I had no fresh basil :(, so I used dried. Otherwise, followed your delicious recipe, adding both the red pepper flakes and the oregano. We loved it--thanks!"
"Awesome, i definitely recommend trying this! You'll love it! We were looking for a good penne recipe and this is it! Jennifer"
