"This has become my go-to cinnamon roll recipe. A couple changes--I use real butter--I think it tastes much better than margarine in baked goods--and I let the rolls rise for a second time after I cut them and put them in the pan. They are fabulous and my whole family devours them!"
"These are so yummy! My family loves it when I make these Cinnamon Rolls. I usually make 2 batches & freeze them. Then defrost in Microwave, heat in the oven for about 10 min, & they taste like they were just made. I'm definitely going to do this for Christmas morning this year. I think it will be a new tradition for Christmas morn. Sure beats Pillsbury. Makes the house smell amazing as well. :-)"
"Isnt the yeast usually only one pouch (1/4 ounce)? one ounce is ALOT of yeast! I made this recipe with onlu 1/4 ounce of yeast and they came out PERFECT! Thanks for posting!"
"I give this a MILLION stars! It was a lot of work but the result was worth it! I ended up making them a couple of times in one week to give to friends. It was hard to give them away because I wanted to eat them all myself! For the filling, I used one and a half of the amounts in this recipe. They were SOOO delicious!"
"I love to get recipes from grandma, tehe,. These are the best cinnamon rolls I've made. The family LOVES them. They were up and out of bed before these were out of the oven asking "Are they done yet?" You know you've got something special when you can entice an entire house out of bed early in the morning. On a Saturday no less, lol. My DH is a chocoholic so he drizzled some hershey chocolate ice cream syrup on top of his. All I can say is YUM. Thanks for a terrific recipe."
"I've always loved these rolls at the mall - especially the icing. This icing was VER:Y close to the real thing. Lots of work - but always fun to make cinnamon rolls. Only suggestion I have is that I would use more filling next time. They didn't seem quite as gooey and decadent as the real ones!"
"I have to tell you that these were just wonderful. I followed the recipe as written and tasted great. There is alot of work and mess with all the measuring but well worth it. Thanks "Chef on the Coast
"I love this rolls on this!! The filling needs way more to it....I would double if not tripple the recipe.Put doubke in the rolls and then the other 1/3 on the bottom of the pan. When they are done flip them over onto a flat board or pan. I would also add a little bit more butter to the filling recipe"
"I was delighted by how well these worked out! I'm not much of a baker, but since cinnabons are my youngest daughters favourite treat, I couldn't resist trying the recipe! Perfect.... :) I didn't eat any myself, not a sweet lover, but the family thoroughly enjoyed them, and we had a lot of fun making them! Definitely a make-again!"
"These are very good...nice soft dough and sweet just what I was looking for!"
"This recipe is exactly like three others on Zaar except for an optional item here or there. I made these today, turned out really good. I found the dough to be too sweet for me, but the family polished off all the rolls in no time, I guess they enjoyed them wouldn't you say. I will make again but maybe reduce the sugar in the rolls to 1/3 cup and also used 2 tbsp. cinnamon only, that was plenty."
"I made this receipe, and it´s delicius ! easy to make !"
"Although I cannot eat sugars...my family loved these rolls!! I have always made a form of cin rolls, but this recipe was the best dough that I have used. The dough was more like a sweet dough. I did use real butter instead of the Marg. (Afterall..if you are going to gain weight...might as well do it the old fashioned way :-) And I used more filling than originally called for. Great recipe...I will use this one from now on. "
