"Hi Rita~, I tripled the recipe was done in about 2 minutes flat! Smooth as silk texture and a very creamy taste I used sunflower oil and sea salt. This peanut butter compares with anything you could buy in the store. Thanks for posting Rita~!"
"Very easy recipe with delicious and all natural results! I don't see me ever going back to commercial peanut butter again. Highly recommended."
"Since peanut butter is so ridiculosly expensive here this is a must have recipe for me.I used 2 T sunflower oil and it wasn't store smooth, but I like it chunky anyway and I guess,DD will have to learn to eat her PB chunky as well. I used it to make peanut butter cookies and they tasted so peanuty. Thanks for another great recipe."
"What a great easy recipe for peanut butter! It works like a charm and the finished product is so peanutty and yummy that I doubt we will ever buy another jar in the store. I used a little less peanuts, cause thats all I had in the house (150 g) and for the oil I used sesame oil, cause I didnt have peanut and its also rather nutty in taste. Cause I wanted to give away the butter to my dad, who likes his peanut butter a little sweeter, I added in 1/2 tbs sugar, which made for a nice addition. I can see this recipe used in many different ways experimenting with flavours and texture. THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing this great recipe with us, ~Rita~! Made and reviewed for Veggie Swap #21 April 2010."
"This turned out great, although the texture wasn't nearly as smooth as the kind at the store. I needed to add about 3 tbsp of oil just to get it to look like peanut butter, but eventually it worked. I also added some honey and it was delicious."
"Delicious! I followed the recipe for chunky exactly, but I used my blender because a Christmas incident with gingerbread cookies left my food processor...immobilized. Anyway, the end result was superb - it tastes just like the expensive jars of natural/organic butters."
"Can't wait to try this with the oil added. How about other nuts like cashews or almonds? Has anyone tried this and what is the results? I am going to try it and will post the results."
"This was really good! And I can't believe how easy it was to make! I'll be doing this from now on instead of buying for sure :) Thanks for posting it."
"Making peanut butter is so easy! Taste is fresher. I couldn't find honey roasted peanut butter for a recipe so I bought some honey roasted dry peanuts and tried this. The food processor makes it effortless. I didnt add any salt and its perfect! Thanks for posting this recipe Rita."
"Bought peanut butter is probably one of the worst products for transfats!!! This solves the problem. It can be made in a flash anytime and the quanity made is just about right for a couple weeks. My freezer has peanuts in it ready for the next "batch". Thanks RitaL"
"Saw the pictures of this yesterday in the photo forum, realized I had all the makings on hand and just had to make this. I also needed slightly more than the 1 Tbsp oil, but no problem, it turned out perfect!"
"I know, some people think... do you really need a recipe for peanut butter? Well, yes.... Id say so. Ive tried a few times to just toss the stuff into the processor without knowing how much oil for the quantity of nuts, and sometimes it has been too oily *ICK* This made the perfect amount, and gave me the perfect consistency I was looking for, adding just a TOUCH more oil, I have mine sealed in a jar in the fridge...but Im not sure it'll last 2 weeks!!!"
