"I now prefer using this mix then from what I used to buy in the supermarket. Nice little gift too. Play with it and adjust spicyness to your own liking."

"I needed some cajun seasoning for Cajun Chicken Pasta #12531(great recipe, btw)--and this was perfect! I really liked that it was not just all salt. I'm excited to try this as other reviewers have suggested: oven fries, salmon, and veggies!"
"WOW, what a great seasoning mix! I love making oven fries and this recipe is the perfect accompaniement to them! It is spicy, really spicy but not in a way that you cant taste anything else. The different spices and herbs go great together and make for a lovely flavour! I also used this on puffed millet balls for snacking and it really kicked them up a notch. YUM! THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing this recipe with us, PetsRUs!"
"Now everything will taste Cajun. I love it!I've just used it for French Fries and chicken is next. Thanks for sharing."
"This is super simple to make and I had all the ingredients on hand except onion powder. I had onion flakes and chose to use them instead. They look enourmous in the photo, but I did give them a chomp with a knife first. They may be different texturally, but I'm sure they'll work in the recipe I made the mix for (Recipe #114294) If they don't, I'll let you know."
"Great mix. Lovely on salmon. Will try next with chicken."
"Having grown-up in a Cajun household, well-seasoned was in order, but not spicy hot. With the advent of Paul Prudhomme's popularization of "new" Cajunism, it's finally become vogue to be Cajun...something that was "not" in my day. Anyhoo, this seasoning mix is fabulous. By all means add the salt (sea salt is even better) AND a smidge of sugar. Trust me on the sugar. I've just coated a couple of extra boneless chicken breast with this mix and sauted them in just a dab of olive oil. The arouma and taste was out-of-this-world good. You gotta give it a try and you will be bestowed the now honorary title of "Cajun"."
"Made this as directed except used regular black pepper (what I had) instead of white. The smell alone is awesome, will use this in a cajun recipe I'm making but can see it being used on many, many things. Made for Cook a thon in memory of Pets R us"
"This is a great Cajun Seasoning. I only used 1 tsp. of cayenne pepper and didn't have white pepper but still only used 1 tsp of black pepper and it was plenty spicy for me and I LOVE spicy. I added 1 tsp. of salt as well. The flavor is really great. I suggest start with the minimum on the white/black pepper and cayenne pepper, taste it and decide how much more you want. I used it with Bayou Pasta with Chicken recipe # 264362 and it was a fantastic and easy meal. I look forward to using this on many dishes."
"Really enjoyed using this seasoning. It made enough to nearly fill a complete 1.25 oz spice container. I used this in a cajun burger recipe and I couldn't be happier. Much appreciated. Thanks for sharing."
"I needed a cajun mix for the chicken I was cooking so I whipped this up. It is delicious. I didn't have white pepper so I added more black pepper. I also added a 1/2 tsp salt."
"Absolutely Yummy! Perfect amount of spice!"
"I used this recipe for a Creamy Cajun Chicken & Pasta recipe and it came out wonderful! Great recipe and the kids loved it too, the "spicy-ness" was just perfect for my 4 yr old and 2 year old who tend to not like spicy foods."
"I used this recipe to make my own Cajun seasoning blend to use in the Cajun Rice Pilaf recipe I just posted. Perfect blend of spices and added a great flavor to the pilaf! I now have a little jar of Cajun seasoning in my cupboard, ready to go, the next time I need it! Thanks!"
"This is very spicy but delicious also :P I omitted the salt. We tried it yesterday on steaks. Thanks Pets'R'us :) Made for holiday tag."
"I cut the cayenne back by a half tsp. All else was "By The Book" and excellent. The last Cajun Seasoning that I had (a famous restaurant brand) contained sugar! Yuck. It's lovely to have something that is what you expect from Cajun. I didn't add any salt to the mix, it can always be added if someone wants it."
"Found the cayenne too overpowering and did not like it. We used it on potato wedges and it destroyed the flavour of the wedges."
"I really LOVE this.. I ruined a dinner not to long ago using a store bought (quite expensive cajun mix) too salty even for me and I like salt this was just terrific both in smell and taste.. love that this has optional salt (which I DID add) but added only about 2 teaspoons in my cookbook so after the triple batch I made is gone I'll whip up another batch..thank you for the recipe..OUTSTANDING!!!"
"A great mix. I used it with Tilapia. It is great. It is very easy to make and it made a small bottle of mix. I will have to double the recipe and give to my daughters. Thanks so much for sharing."
"Loved this! I made it to use in Crockpot Pork Sandwiches Recipe #105736. I did reduce the amount of cayenne slightly when making the spice mix. Thank you PetsRUs for a keeper! "
"This is fantastic rub! I also add in Kosher salt... I have been using it in many of my recipes lately. I plan on keeping this handy all the time. Thanks for post Pets!...Kittencal:)"
