About This Recipe

"i cannot even remember where this recipe came from,all i know is that i am unpacking cartons and this 3x5 card fell out of one of the cartons. i don't even remember the last time i made it, but i vaguely remember it was good and easy too. Cook time is refrigerator time."

Ingredients

    • 3 ounces lime gelatin
    • 1 cup boiling water
    • 1 pint vanilla ice cream
    • 1/4-1/2 cup miniature chocolate chip
    • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract (optional)

Directions

  1. In a large bowl mix gelatin powder and boiling water.
  2. Let sit until starting to set.
  3. Stir in ice cream until well blended.
  4. Stir in mini morsels and peppermint extract, if using.
  5. Pour into 6 dessert dishes.
  6. Chill until firm.
