"I love it! I get tired of cooking vegetables the same way all the time & pasta is a hassel because it always needs cream which goes bad so quickly so I never buy it. This recipe solved both dilemmas and didn't require any extra pans/pots. Thank you! Good and tasty. Btw I added some crushed red peppers, probably doubled the garlic (maybe even more than doubled it), and decided after adding the parmesan that it's better without it."
"I have made this salad many times. It is one my favorites."
"This dish has a very fresh taste. I love the combination of broccoli, garlic and lemon, so I knew this would be great. I only used 1/2 the salt and it was enough for me. Very good, I will make again."
"Very good, especially that tangy lemon sauce and proportions were just right. Made for Going Green, a March tag game."
"I made a lot of modifications but it came out excellent. I used asparagus instead of broccoli. I sauteed the chopped asparagus in olive oil along with a few cloves of minced garlic. I added that to the bow tie pasta (cooked al dente) along with the juice of half a lemon. I sauteed the pine nuts in the same pan. The rest of the recipe is pretty much the same."
"I really enjoyed this pasta! Every time we have pasta, it's always, always, always covered in a red sauce, so I was thrilled to make this. I used the amounts listed as more of a guide since I was only cooking for 4, and tweaked the flavours at the end. A little more salt and pepper, an extra sprinkling or two of lemon juice, and it was perfect! I left out the pine nuts since I didn't have any, but it was still delicious, light with delicate flavours. Oh, and I made this with fusilli, which worked perfectly. Thank you!"
"This recipe is so delicious that even my little picky eaters enjoyed it. All the ingredients go together well with a pleasing flavor. This is a great dish for a family meal or for company. Use a fresh lemon for the juice and zest if you have one on hand. I skipped the pine nuts but it turned out fine."
"Enjoyed this dish, but I think I'll take one of the reviewers suggestion and add more garlic/lemon zest next time. I felt it could use it. :)"
"This was a really nice meal that we both enjoyed. I did almost triple the garlic and increased the lemon zest and lemon juice as we prefer stronger flavours. A definite addition to the regular rotation binder. Thanks so much for sharing yet another great recipe!"
"I loved this. Made as written, except using regular salt and no pine nuts. I couldn't believe how light this was. Amazing flavour too. I added extra zest to the oil/butter mixture as well as sprinkling some on the finished product. I'll be making this one again. Bet it's good cold too. Thanks Lennie!!!"
"This was Awesome!!! I disn't have lemon zest but I don't think it needed it. I did add 1/2 tea garlic powder with the salt and pepper, but I love garlic. I also didn't use any butter. Didn't feel a need for it. So so good!!"
"I made this last night and it was perfect ! I made it with tagliatelle instead of farfalle , but apart form that I followed it to a T and it was great ! Very successful and I will definitely be making it again. I see it becoming a favorite in my house because the ingredients are so simple and easy to find/ prepare ! Thank you for a delicious dinner !"
"A lovely entree. The only thing I did different was follow another reviewer and added a few shrimp at the last minute and some red pepper flakes. It was a delicious way to serve broccoli and we will be having it again. Thanks, Carole in Orlando"
"This is definetely one of our favorite recipes for use of broccoli..its really great with organic broccoli that was available at the market..I also add the zest of at least 1 lemon on top of the dish when it is done..this is so simple,it's hard to believe it packs so much flavor..dont forget to toast the nuts!"
"We followed the directions to the letter, but we both felt like there was something missing. It was good, but did not live up to my hopes after reading the other reviews."
"We had this with some chicken breasts that I marinated in balsamic vinegar and grilled. Fast, easy and good meal. I took a short cut and bought fresh broccoli in a bag and microwaved it, then just added it to the cooked pasta and butter mixture."
"Holy Cow!!! This dish was SO great! I added cooked shrimp to the garlic/butter saute. Very good and balanced flavors. Thank you!"
"VERY TASTY. I didn't have pine nuts, but it tasted great still. I added asparagus as well and instead i put 3/4 cup of parmesan cheese, bcuz i love cheese. Thanx "
"A quick and easy delicious side dish! I love the lemon flavor with the broccoli! Only problem was I couldn't find any pine nuts so we just had it without!"
"This amazing dish was eaten by only 3 people! My dad who always mutters about healthy broccoli kept mounding on seconds. I put 2 tsp minced garlic, which balanced the lemon perfectly. I forgot the olive oil but it tasted amazing without it. And I used only 1/2 tsp of regular salt, instead of 2 tsp of kosher salt. I covered my broccoli after their 3 minute dip in boiling water, and they turned out a perfect green. Definitely a dish to make again. My mom was asking me when i was going to make it again :D"
