"This was so easy to make and tastes delicious. I was also able to use some with some red food coloring to decorate the cake. I have had it written on a piece of paper for a long time.. don't know where I got it, but I needed to make a cake today and remembered this. This makes enough to frost and fill a two layer 9 inch cake, or frost a sheet cake."

"I wish I could give more than 5 stars! It was fabulous! I found that it tasted like the inside of a buckeye! I halved the recipe and was able to frost a 13x9 inch chocolate sheet cake! I do think the texture was a little off, so next time I'll add a touch more milk, but other than that I have no complaints! A very wonderful frosting, and something I will definitely make again! One of my favorite frostings! Thanks SO much!"
"twenty stars. holy cow. this rocks. so light and fluffy and absolutely fab. made for a chocolate cake and decided to forget the cake and just have some frosting instead! will use this fo-ev-ah. thanks a zillion."
"My son LOVES PB&J, so I experimented with making PB&J cupcakes for his birthday. I used a white cake mix, squirt jelly in the middle, and frosted with this PB frosting. It worked pretty well. If I were to use this recipe again I would put less powdered sugar and/or more PB. It was just a little too sweet for these cupcakes."
"Perfect!!!! This recipe is fabulous. My family loves it!! Thanks so much:)"
"Super good! I added more peanut butter though as my hubby loves it. Delicious!"
"Phenominal. Just that. I was looking for a frosting that would look great when piped out, and it exceeding my expectations. Just wonderfully beautiful!"
"Really yummy!! I never thought about making this flavor of frosting before. I used it to top some chocolate rice krispie bars and we loved it. I can't wait to make a cake with it!!"
"Man this was good. If I could eat it for all three meals every day, I seriously would. Sure I'd get sick of it, but not for a while. In any case, I found this to be incredibly easy and very tasty. I added a bit of butter for some extra creaminess. I used it on some chocolate cupcakes and got some rave reviews from guests."
"So good. I made it exactly as written and frosted 2 banana cakes and they are yummy!"
"So yummy! My hubby had the munchies so I baked some brownies and frosted it with this. It was super delicious. :)"
"Love love love it! Easy and very very good!"
"Made this frosting today for a cupcakes. Made butter golden cupcakes, cut out the centers and added indulgences Philly cream cheese chocolate (sooo good). Then. Frosted them with this wonderful recipe. I had 36 cupcakes so after reviewing some of the other reviews, I added 1/2 cup more of the PB and another 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla. It came out perfect for the quantity. I will have to try this also for the brownies for work. Majority are going to a bake sale at church for a good cause. Hope whoever buys them will love them as much as we do. Thanks for sharing the recipe."
"This icing is great on cupcakes and brownies. It held up well to be piped on cupcakes and tasted delicious."
"My 11 year old son and I made this to frost chocolate cupcakes. They were wonderful! Everyone complimented on the frosting and had seconds. Very simple to make. We frosted 24 cupcakes heavily and still had about 2 cups of frosting left."
"Oh my. Peanut butter is not on my top 10 list of foods I can't live with out but this may move it up the ranks. I have an elderly client who's birthday is coming up. He has no family but a close friend of his who lives out of state was concerned about his being alone on his birthday. I assured her we'd make sure he wasn't and promised I'd even bake a special cake. Of course he loves chocolate cake and I asked her about what kind of frosting he might like on it. He's from PA and she said chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting was practically a staple there. I'd never heard of peanut butter frosting so did some research and decided to try this particular recipe. Based on reviews I cut back the sugar to 3 cups. I used fresh ground peanut butter so no added sugar to it - if I'd used jarred I'd cut back the sugar a bit more. I did add a bit more of the peanut butter to suit my taste. This is wonderful. I thought it silly how many people said they were eating it by the spoonful - right till I tried it! Amazing. I haven't put together the cake yet but hopefully will get a picture of it to post as soon as it's done. It's a dark chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling and this incredible frosting and will have crushed Butterfingers on the sides to dress it up even more. I have a feeling I'll be making cupcakes to take to work this week with this on it as well - I know it will be appreciated Thanks so much! A definite keeper!"
"Delicious! I wasn't sure if I was going to have enough to frost my cupcakes because my 3-year-old kept eating it out of the bowl! A half batch was plenty to frost 24 cupcakes. Great recipe! A keeper."
"I love peanut butter and now I love it in frosting form. This recipe is great. My frosting came out perfect and fluffy. Thank you!"
"I LOVE THIS! I just made my birthday cake (chocolate, yum!) and was needing some peanut butter to go with it. I made this by with a whisk so it didn't come out fluffy but I threw it in the fridge for a while until I could spread it all over my bundt cake. I printed it and it is in my recipe book for good! Thank you!!!"
