"I threw the bananas in the blender to make a smooth paste then added the butter and syrup. I left out the nuts, but used a 1/4 t black walnut flavor. It made a nice smooth syrup without comments of "chunks" in my syrup. Everyone loved it. I think this would also be good over ice cream."
