"This is very easy to put together and pretty tasty in my opinion! I came up with it when one night when I thought chicken cordon bleu sounded good, but only had cubed chicken on hand. You can use shredded cheese instead of sliced, add broccoli or more meat, use homemade biscuits... it's pretty forgiving. These are just the ingredients I happened to have on hand that day, but feel free to adjust to suit your tastes."

"This was delicious, with just a few tweaks. For convenience, I used a rotisserie chicken. I added some frozen broccoli and carrots, used crescent roll dough instead of biscuits, and used shredded Swiss. I also added just a touch of Dijon mustard to the sauce- it gave it a little flavor boost. It was a hit at dinner!"
"This was really good & tasty! I used a pan that was a little larger and that was a mistake, but otherwise made as is and I will definitely make it again. For our tastes, I may add some onions and mushrooms next time because we felt it needed a little somethin', somethin' extra being in a casserole form. That's just a personal preference but it's delicious just the way it is!"
"We loved this recipe! I did have to add a little more milk (about 1/2 cup) since this was a little too thick, but I got the consistency to my likening very easily. I also used about 3/4 c shredded swiss instead of sliced swiss - again worked out fine. Last, I did not have seasoned bread crumbs so I used crushed garlic croutons! DELICIOUS!!!!! Will make again. The ham, chicken, and swiss cheese really gave it that "cordon bleu" taste! Thanks for submitting this recipe ... it's a keeper!"
"Thank-you for a great quick and easy recipe. I liked the taste and wish that I had used the Swiss Cheese rather than the shredded Cheese I had on hand. Next time I will just go to the Deli and ask for a few slices as it would compliment the dish better. Also I bought a rotisserie Chicken and diced it. It had a great flavor."
"I loved the crunch that the breadcrumbs gave to the biscuits. Very good recipe and a great way to use up some leftover holiday ham. It was a little thck for my taste so I will add a little more milk to the mixture next time. Thanks for sharing!"
"This was great. I used a can of cream of mushroom for the base because I needed to use it up. My DH who doesn't really care for swiss cheese loved this, because it complimented the other flavors so well. Great way to use up the tube of biscuits in the back of my fridge."
"We loved this dish! Very satisfying, and simple to make!"
"Great flavor! Used leftover xmas ham. Next time I will add a little more milk or less flour as mine seemed a little thick, but it tasted fabulous anyway! Only had plain breadcrumbs on hand..so I spiced them up a bit. The kids really LOVED IT! Thanks Looneytunes!"
"I loved it! It is a bit high in calories but it's worth it. Yummy!"
"Fabulous! I've tried a lot of chicken cordon bleu casseroles before, but this one was by far the best - I don't think I'll ever make another one! The flavor was delicious, I loved the cheese under the biscuits, and I hadn't been sure how I'd like the seasoned breadcrumbs on top of the biscuits, but that ended up being a really tasty touch! The only problem I had was that I didn't think this would fill an 11x7-inch casserole, so I made it in a 2 quart casserole, and next time I'll double it and make it in a 9x13-inch dish. I left out the salt and pepper and didn't miss them, and I used half a can of Grands biscuits because I didn't have the smaller size on hand, and that worked well. Thanks for a great recipe!"
"This was very good. I had left over biscuits from the night before. So I didn't put the biscuits on top just warmed those up. I didn't have bread crumbs so I crushed up some stuffing mix and put on top. It came out very good. My DH said this is good. Thanks"
"We really liked this. My dad went back for thirds. It was really easy to make. We had some frozen cooked chicken strips in the freezer that I used. We will make this again."
"This was comfort food.I topped mine with package Stove Top Stuffing; we loved it!Thanks for sharing."
"I have made this recipe 3 times now and it is a hit with my whole family! My father-in-law requested it for his birthday dinner. I've also recommended it to several online friends who all gave it rave reviews. I also used croissants instead of biscuits. A tip: don't roll up the croissants. They won't cook well on the bottom. Just leave them flat."
"A very nice way to use up those leftovers! Had some trouble with the white sauce...I think that the proportion of flour to milk is off as I had to add something like twice as much milk as called for to get an acceptable texture."
"This was delicious and very easy to prepare. The only change I made the second time I prepared it was I omitted the bread crumbs and used croissants instead of bisuits. This has quickly become a family favorite!"
"grand biscuits are good here too i like the way you have done your recipes the pix are great you cook the way i do so it was a pleasure to cook some of your recipes"
"Yummy! I used two cans of breadsticks instead of biscuits cause hubby got the wrong thing, and mozzerella instead of swiss. It turned out wonderful! I also added 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard. Thanks for the wonderful recipe!"
"Delicious! I used crescent rolls rather than biscuits and they turned out great-very light and flaky for the topping. "
"I liked this recipe very much. I will definatly be making it again. My husband even liked it, he's very picky. Thank you."
