"Another personal South Beach Diet friendly favorite of mine. It's flavorful and easy to throw together, bakes in less than 1 hour. I serve this with a side of my Mexican Jumping Beans. For the taco seasoning, I like to make my own (no sugar added; there are plenty of taco seasoning Zaar recipes to choose from, if you would like to make your own."

"Such a simple recipe but yet SO GOOD. I sprinkled salt on both sides of the chicken, did 4 chicken breasts. Didn't really measure the seasoning I just kept sticking a 1/2 TBL scooper in the package and seasoned both sides of each chicken (so I'm not sure how much I used, probably more than called for but it was tasty!!) and I used about 1/2 a jar of salsa and I did bake it covered with foil so the chicken wouldn't dry out. I think I might add black beans like another user did and fiesta cheese makes this so yummy!!! We had spanish rice and re fried black beans. Thanks!!!"
"Very good! I made 3 breasts (cut each in half) and used about 6 oz of salsa total. FYI, the salsa does stay put during cooking (I thought it would all run off), so feel free to use a more expensive salsa that you love because you will be able to taste it! I too baked mine covered for 30 minutes on 375 and it was super juicy but a little tough. Perhaps next time I will try it at 350 for 30-40 minutes and see if that works better. Oh, and I marinated the chicken in a tequila lime marinade for a day too. Thanks for sharing, as we will certainly make these again."
"Easy and tasty. I made my own sugar free taco seasoning and the boys kept asking for more. Thanks for sharing. Only difference I made was to buy thin sliced chicken breast, so it was only 30 minutes total."
"Our family had this for dinner tonight. It was AMAZING! easy to make & very yummy."
"I used boneless skinless thighs. This was excellent."
"This was SO good. I forgot to put the cheese on it, but it was still amazing. I used kroger hot salsa, hot"
"Very easy & good! Low carb is a bonus, but anyone would enjoy this recipe. Thanks!"
"Couldn't believe how amazing this was for such a simple recipe! I used fresh salsa instead of jarred and sprinkled the top with fresh green onion and cilantro. Served with corn and retried black beans. Totally delicious!"
"Absolutely amazing! I doubled the recipe for my family, used Recipe #2642 for the taco seasoning, and added pico de gallo (as well as the salsa) on top of the whole thing. Covered it in a Mexican cheese blend, and devoured it! I will definitely be making this again. It's so easy and delicious!"
"SUPER easy and SUPER tasty! All of my boys loved this and so did I! It's not often that we all enjoy the same thing in the house! :)"
"better than i expected. i made the mexican beans to go with it.
"Oh.... My god. This chicken is the tastiest, most comforting food ever. I tend to over cook my chicken because I'm pregnant and paranoid, but even with extra cooking time this came out juicy. And it makes my husband happy because it's low carb! And as long as I don't goober board on the cheese, rather low fat! And beautiful tasting! Five stars, plus more if I could!!"
"This was delicious, served with a simple salad with spicy guacamole. Thanks."
"This was really tasty and super easy to make. My kids even liked it. Will definitely be making his again!"
"Wow! A great tasting and easy recipe! I used Old El Paso reduced sodium taco mix, a favorite black bean and corn salsa (Archer Farms - Target Brand), and Sargento reduced fat mexican cheese. It was SO EASY to throw together and tasted really good. I followed the recipe exactly but only cooked for 40 minutes and then added the cheese for 5 more minutes. It was cooked perfectly. I will definitely make this dish again."
"This sounded good, and I thought we would like it, but we didn't. The taco seasoning and the salsa together was too much. Sorry."
"YUM!!!! I used medium salsa verde and this came out so good! So easy!! Thanks for posting!!"
"Great Recipe! I baked it with a can of black beans to add to the Mexican sabor. My husband loved it too."
"Easy and Yummy -- 2 of my favorite things! I served it with spanish rice and Recipe #103767. Thanks for sharing!"
