Hamburger Patties

Ingredients

    1. 1 lb lean ground beef
    2. 1 small onion, chopped
    3. 1 slice bread, cubed (optional)
    4. 2 tablespoons catsup
    5. 1/2 teaspoon salt
    6. 1 1/2 teaspoons prepared mustard
    7. 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
    8. 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients.
  2. Shape into 4 patties, about 3 1/2 inches in diameter.
  3. Place in square baking dish 8 x 8 x 2-inches.
  4. If desired, brush each patty with additional catsup.
  5. Cover loosely and microwave on high (100%) 5 minutes; turn dish one-quarter turn.
  6. Microwave until done, 2 to 3 minutes.
  7. ALTERNATE COOKING METHOD: Grill to desired doneness.
