Mushroom Linguini

Ingredients

    1. 1 (1 lb) package linguine
    2. 6 tablespoons butter
    3. 10 teaspoons garlic, minced
    4. 2 tablespoons olive oil
    5. 2 teaspoons dried basil
    6. 8 cups fresh mushrooms, sliced
    7. 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
    8. pepper

Directions

  1. Linguini: Cook as per package directions.
  2. Drain before adding sauce.
  3. In a large saucepan melt 2 tbls.
  4. Butter.
  5. Add garlic and cook until tender.
  6. Add mushrooms, basil and a dash of salt.
  7. Saute until tender.
  8. Add rest of the butter, olive oil and pepper to mushrooms.
  9. Add mushrooms to pasta and toss.
  10. Garnish w/ parsley.
  11. Serve w/ fresh Parmesan cheese.
