Another Taco Casserole

You can create up to five timers

Ingredients

    1. 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
    2. 1 package taco seasoning ( I like Old El Paso lower sodium mix)
    3. 16 ounces tomato sauce
    4. 1 can Mexican-style corn, drained
    5. 1 cup shredded cheese ( I use Cheddar Jack)
    6. 1 cup broken tortilla chips ( bite size pieces)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Brown beef in a large skillet and drain.
  3. Stir in taco mix, tomato sauce, and corn.
  4. Simmer about 5 minutes.
  5. Spoon mixture into a 2-quart casserole dish.
  6. Top with the cheese and tortilla chips.
  7. Bake about 5 or 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
  8. Serve with your favorite garnishes, such as chopped green onions, sour cream, etc.
