Ingredients

    1. 16 cups water, divided
    2. 6 regular tea bags or 3 family-size tea bags
    3. 1 1/2 cups sugar
    4. 1/8 teaspoon baking soda

Directions

  1. Bring 4 cups water to a boil over high heat in 2-quart saucepan.
  2. Remove from heat; add tea bags and brew 15 minutes, dunking tea bags several times.
  3. Remove tea bags and squeeze.
  4. Stir in sugar and baking soda until completely dissolved.
  5. Stir in remaining 12 cups water.
