Broiled Tilapia With Parmesan

Ingredients

    1. 2 lbs tilapia fillets
    2. 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
    3. 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
    4. 3 tablespoons light mayonnaise
    5. 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
    6. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    7. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
    8. 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
    9. 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
    10. 1/8 teaspoon onion salt
    11. 1/8 teaspoon celery seed

Directions

  1. Set oven to broil.
  2. Spray Pam on large baking sheet.
  3. In a small bowl combine the rest of the ingredients. Mix well.
  4. Arrange fillets in a single layer on baking sheet.
  5. Broil for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Turn the fish over and broil 2-3 minutes more.
  7. Remove from oven and top with Parmesan mixture, only the tops.
  8. Return to oven and broil until golden brown on top and fish flakes easily. This takes about 3 minutes.
