Ingredients

    1. 4 sweet Italian sausage
    2. 4 tablespoons butter
    3. 4 minced garlic cloves
    4. 2 tablespoons vermouth
    5. 1/2 teaspoon salt ( to taste)
    6. 1/2 cup heavy cream
    7. 1/4 cup fresh parsley
    8. 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
    9. cayenne pepper

Directions

  1. Melt butter, remove sausage from casings leave in chunks
  2. brown well then add garlic and vermount cook until sausage is no longer pink.
  3. add cream simmer 5 minutes salt and pepper to taste, cayenne if using.
  4. add cheese until melted, sprinkle with parsley, serve over pasta of choice.
