Ingredients

    1. 200 g chickpeas, mashed
    2. 1 carrot, shredded
    3. 1 parsnip, shredded
    4. 2 spring onions, finely chopped
    5. 1 egg
    6. 1 chili, finely chopped
    7. 1 tablespoon thyme leaves
    8. 2 garlic cloves, minced
    9. 1 teaspoon cumin
    10. 1 teaspoon paprika
    11. 1 teaspoon fenugreek seeds
    12. 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
    13. 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
    14. 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper

Directions

  1. Mix all the ingredients well and shape into 6 Burgers.
  2. Shallow Fry on each side for 7 minutes, then drain on kitchen paper.
  3. Serve with lime Wedges.
