Easy Tomato-Bacon Pasta Sauce

Ingredients

    1. 1/2 lb bacon, diced
    2. 1 (28 ounce) cans diced tomatoes, with juice
    3. 1 teaspoon sugar
    4. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    5. 1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning
    6. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
    7. 1/2 teaspoon salt
    8. 1 cup frozen peas, thawed
    9. 1/4 cup sour cream
    10. 1 lb pasta, cooked, pick your favorite

Directions

  1. * Cook bacon in saucepan on medium heat until cooked through, but not crisp.
  2. * Drain bacon on paper towels. DO NOT WIPE OUT PAN.
  3. * Turn heat up to medium-high.
  4. * Add tomatoes (with juice) and the seasonings, stir.
  5. * Cook for 5 minutes (simmering vigorously), stirring occasionally.
  6. * Remove from pan, add peas, sour cream and drained bacon.
  7. * Serve over your favorite, cooked pasta.
