Poppy Seed Chicken Casserole

Ingredients

    1. 3 cups chicken, cooked and shredded
    2. 1 (10 1/2 ounce) cans cream of chicken soup
    3. 8 ounces sour cream
    4. 1 cup mushroom, sliced
    5. 1 tablespoon butter
    6. 1/2 cup butter
    7. 1 1/2 cups Ritz crackers
    8. 3 tablespoons poppy seeds

Directions

  1. Mix the chicken together with the cream soup and sour cream.
  2. Saute the mushrooms in 1 tablespoon butter. Add to the chicken mixture.
  3. Melt the 1/2 cup butter and mix with the crushed crackers and poppyseeds. Add half of the cracker mixture to the chicken and mix well.
  4. Pour chicken mixture into a greased baking dish. Top with the remaining cracker mixture.
  5. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes uncovered.
