Ingredients

    1. 24 sprigs fresh parsley, small
    2. 12 bay leaves, divided
    3. 1 1/2 teaspoons dried whole thyme, divided
    4. 1 1/2 teaspoons dried tarragon leaves, divided
    5. unbleached muslin cheesecloth
    6. kite string
    7. canning jar

Directions

  1. Wrap 2 parsley sprigs, 1 bay leaf, 1/8 tsp thyme, and 1/8 tsp tarragon in a 6" square of cheesecloth.
  2. Tie into a bag using kite string.
  3. Pack herb bouquets into a wide-mouthed canning jar, with a clamped lid.
  4. Use as a seasoning for stews or sauces, adding bouquet during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
