Banana Split Brownie Delight

Ingredients

    GRAHAM CRUST

    1. 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs ( 9 full crackers)
    2. 1/4 cup sugar
    3. 6 tablespoons butter, melted

    CHOCOLATE LAYER

    1. 1/3 cup flour
    2. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    3. 1/8 teaspoon salt
    4. 4 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
    5. 1 ounce baking chocolate
    6. 1/2 cup butter
    7. 1/2 cup sugar
    8. 2 egg whites
    9. 1 teaspoon vanilla

    PEANUT BUTTER LAYER

    1. 2/3 cup peanut butter
    2. 1 tablespoon vanilla
    3. 1 cup brown sugar
    4. 1/2 cup sugar
    5. 1/4 teaspoon salt
    6. 2 egg yolks
    7. 1 cup milk

    TOPPING

    1. 2 -3 bananas, sliced
    2. 8 ounces non-dairy whipped topping
    3. chocolate shavings

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. GRAHAM CRUST.
  3. Stir together crumbs and sugar, then mix in butter. Pat into the bottom of an 8x8 or 9x9 pan and bake for 10 minutes.
  4. FUDGE BROWNIE.
  5. Melt chocolate chips and baking chocolate and stir until smooth. In separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt.
  6. In mixer, cream sugar, butter, egg and egg white until thickened, then mix in melted chocolate and vanilla. Mix in dry ingredients until just blended. Pour into crust and bake for 10 minutes or just until crust has formed over top.
  7. PEANUT BUTTER LAYER.
  8. Meanwhile cream together peanut butter, vanilla and brown sugar, sugar and salt. Mix in egg yolks and then milk and beat until smooth. Gently pour over chocolate layer.
  9. TOPPING.
  10. Spread banana slices over pie, then top with whipped topping and chocolate shavings.
