Sugared Peanuts

Ingredients

    1. 5 cups unsalted peanuts
    2. 1 cup sugar
    3. 1 cup water
    4. 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. In a heavy sauce pan, combine the peanuts, sugar and water.
  2. Bring to a boil: cook until syrup has evaporated, about 10 minutes.
  3. Spread peanuts in a single layer in a 15x10x1 in baking pan; sprinkle with salt.
  4. Bake at 300 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until dry and lightly browned.
  5. Cool completely.
  6. Store in airtight container.
