Easy Baked Ziti

Ingredients

    1. 1 lb ziti pasta ( or other short tube pasta)
    2. 1 (26 ounce) jars spaghetti sauce
    3. 1 cup chicken broth
    4. 1 lb ground beef ( or ground turkey)
    5. 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
    6. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    7. 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
    8. 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated

Directions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet.
  2. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder and Italian seasonings and drain.
  3. Stir in the jar of spaghetti sauce and 1 cup of chicken broth.
  4. Allow this to simmer while you cook the noodles.
  5. Cook noodles until al dente and then drain.
  6. Stir one cup of sauce into the drained noodles.
  7. Add 1/2 cup of sauce to the bottom of a 9×13 dish, and then pour in 1/2 of the noodles.
  8. Top these noodles with half the cheese. Repeat these steps with the remainder of the ingredients.
  9. Bake for twenty minutes covered at 350 degrees.
  10. Remove foil and bake another ten minutes.
