Kimchee Fried Rice

You can create up to five timers

Ingredients

    1. 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
    2. 1/4 lb pork, cut into fine shreds ( may substitute diced Spam)
    3. 4 cups cooked rice ( see note)
    4. 2 cups chopped kim chee, rinsed and drained
    5. salt and pepper (optional)

Directions

  1. Heat oil and stir-fry pork.
  2. Add kim chee and stir-fry 3 minutes, adding salt and pepper if desired.
  3. Add rice and toss well until heated through.
  4. Note: Rice should be prepared drier than usual; cook with less water.
  5. Chicken or tofu can be added instead, if preferred.
