Fast Tomatoes With Basil and Balsamic

Ingredients

    1. 6 roma tomatoes or 6 plum tomatoes, halved
    2. 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
    3. 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
    4. salt ( to taste)
    5. black pepper, freshly cracked ( to taste)

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven at 180oC/350oF/Gas 4.
  2. Place tomatoes on oven tray with the cut side facing down.
  3. Dash over the balsamic vinegar, basil, salt, black pepper to taste.
  4. Bake for about 15 minutes for semi firm (still holding shape) and 30 minutes for well done (extra soft).
