Quick and Easy Onion Rings

You can create up to five timers

Ingredients

    1. 12 ounces beer
    2. 12 ounces all-purpose flour
    3. 1/2 teaspoon salt
    4. 1/4 teaspoon pepper
    5. 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
    6. 1/2 teaspoon chili powder (optional)
    7. 6 onions, sliced into 1/4 inch rings
    8. 2 cups approx oil ( for frying)

Directions

  1. mix beer and dry ingredients in large bowl.
  2. Heat oil in fry pan or equivalent.
  3. Separate onion slices and gently mix in with beer mixture.
  4. Carefully put coated onion slices in hot oil, just enough for one layer at a time, they will stick together if touching. Cook for about one minute until lightly brown and drain on paper towels.
