Three Bean Burger Bake

Ingredients

    1. 1 lb lean ground beef
    2. 1 small onion, chopped
    3. 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
    4. 1 teaspoon salt
    5. 1/2 teaspoon dried basil leaves
    6. 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
    7. 1/4 teaspoon pepper
    8. 1 (16 ounce) cans baked beans
    9. 1 (16 ounce) cans green beans, drained
    10. 1 (16 ounce) cans garbanzo beans, drained
    11. 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
    12. 1/4 cup catsup
    13. 3 slices bacon, cut into 1-in . pieces

Directions

  1. Cook onion and hamburger on high in a large frying pan until pinkness disappears.
  2. Stir in flour, salt, basil, oregano and pepper. Cook until thickened.
  3. Stir in the baked bean, the green beans, garbanzo beans, mustard and catsup.
  4. Turn into a 2-quart casserole.
  5. Add bacon to frying pan and cook until crisp. Drain well and crumble over meat and beans in casserole.
  6. Bake at375° for 35-40 minute or until casserole bubbles and is heated through.
  7. Add a salad and crisp bread to round out the meal.
