Banana Bread W/Chocolate Chips

You can create up to five timers

Ingredients

    1. 2 cups sugar
    2. 1/2 cup shortening
    3. 1 dash salt
    4. 2 eggs
    5. 2 cups flour
    6. 4 ripe bananas
    7. 1 teaspoon baking soda
    8. 3/4 cup chopped nuts
    9. 2 -4 ounces chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Mix the sugar, shortening, egg and banana together.
  2. Put the flour, salt and baking soda in a smaller bowl.
  3. Stir slightly.
  4. Combine with banana mixture.
  5. Stir in nuts, and chocolate chips.
  6. Pour into two greased and floured loaf pans.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes or until bread springs back.
  8. I have also added crushed pineapple for a change.
