Fennel and Halloumi

Ingredients

    1. 2 fennel bulbs, sliced
    2. 1 onion, sliced
    3. 1 tablespoon olive oil
    4. 1 teaspoon caraway seed
    5. 8 ounces halloumi cheese, cubed
    6. black pepper

Directions

  1. In a frying pan, heat the oil then add the fennel and onion, and cook until soft.
  2. Add the cubed halloumi, caraway seeds and black pepper (to taste), and cook, stirring occasionally, until the halloumi browns.
  3. Serve hot with pitta bread.
