Broccoli Parmesan

Ingredients

    1. 2 (10 ounce) packages frozen broccoli florets
    2. 3 tablespoons butter
    3. 3 tablespoons flour
    4. 1 1/2 cups milk
    5. 1/4 cup mayonnaise
    6. parmesan cheese, grated

Directions

  1. Cook broccoli as directed on package.
  2. Drain well and place in buttered 1 1/2 quart casserole dish.
  3. Prepare white sauce by melting butter, blend in flour, and milk.
  4. Cook until quite thick and smooth, stirring constantly.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Blend in mayonnaise.
  7. Pour sauce over brocoli.
  8. Top with a generous layer of Parmesan cheese.
  9. Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes or until hot and bubbling and lightly browned.
