Creamy Corn-Potato-Ham Chowder (Crock Pot)

Ingredients

    1. 5 potatoes, peeled and cubed
    2. 2 onions, chopped
    3. 2 cups ham, diced
    4. 3 stalks celery, chopped
    5. 1 (15 1/4 ounce) cans whole kernel corn, undrained
    6. 2 tablespoons butter ( or margarine)
    7. 1/2 teaspoon salt ( adjust to taste)
    8. 1/8 teaspoon pepper ( adjust to taste)
    9. 2 chicken bouillon cubes
    10. 2 cups approx water ( enough to cover, see step 1 below)
    11. 1 (12 ounce) cans evaporated milk

Directions

  1. In slow cooker place the potatoes, onions, ham, celery, corn, butter or margarine and salt and pepper. Add water to cover and add two bouillon cubes.
  2. Cook on low setting for 8 - 9 hours. Stir in the evaporated milk, and continue to cook for 30 more minutes.
