Sauteed Strawberry Dessert Topping

Ingredients

    1. 3 tablespoons butter
    2. 1/4 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
    3. 3 tablespoons dark brown sugar
    4. 2 cups large strawberries, quartered
    5. 3 tablespoons grated semisweet chocolate
    6. 1/4 cup crumbled toffee lace cookie

Directions

  1. Melt butter in a medium skillet.
  2. When bubbly add walnuts, cook stirring until they just begin to color.
  3. Add brown sugar, stir and cook 25 seconds.
  4. Remove from heat, add strawberries and chocolate.
  5. Quickly stir to melt chocolate and coat the berries.
  6. Spoon over your choice of dessert and sprinkle with cookie crumbs.
