Szechuan-Style Green Beans

Ingredients

    1. 4 tablespoons sesame oil
    2. 3/4 lb green beans, fresh
    3. 1 teaspoon ginger, fresh,peeled and minced
    4. 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
    5. 1/2 cup soy sauce
    6. 1 teaspoon chili-garlic sauce ( available in large supermarkets)

Directions

  1. Heat the sesame oil in a heavy skillet or wok.
  2. Add the beans and stir-fry until almost tender.
  3. Add the ginger and garlic.
  4. Cook for three minutes longer.
  5. Add the soy and chili sauce.
  6. Bring to a boil and cook for 30 seconds.
  7. Serve warm.
