Heavenly Potato Casserole

Ingredients

    1. 2 lbs frozen hash brown potatoes
    2. 1 teaspoon salt
    3. 2 cups grated cheddar cheese
    4. 2 (10 ounce) cans chicken soup or 2 (10 ounce) cans mushroom soup
    5. 1/2 cup chopped onion
    6. 2 cups sour cream

    Topping

    1. 1 1/2 cups corn flakes, crushed
    2. 1/4 cup melted margarine or 1/4 cup butter

Directions

  1. Grease a 9 x 13 inch casserole dish.
  2. Break up potatoes and mix in all ingredients, all but the topping.
  3. Put into baking dish and top with the combination of corn flakes and melted margarine/butter.
  4. Bake at 350 degF for about 45 minutes.
