Wasn't sure I'd care for this since I'm not much of a fan of cooked spinach, but it was actually quite a pleasantly satisfying dish (especially with the 1/4 cup of raisins that I used!) & 3 others at the table commented on it no end, so . . . Thanks for sharing it! [Made & reviewed while in Germany with the ZWT6]

Directions

  1. Strip and wash sorrel.
  2. Cook in a saucepan with no additional water, until wilted.
  3. Drain, if necessary.
  4. Stir in butter and sugar and simmer a few minutes.
  5. Add raisins.
