If you want to eat an authentic Zürigschnetzelts then you need to use veal and not chicken. If you use chicken this is not a Zürichgschetzeltes.

Ingredients Nutrition


  1. Heat oil in a medium fry pan over medium high heat and add diced chicken, stirring constantly until lightly browned.
  2. Remove from pan.
  3. Add the mushrooms with the lemon juice.
  4. Saute for 1 minute.
  5. Add the wine and cream.
  6. Reduce heat to medium and return chicken to the pan.
  7. Heat through and add salt and pepper to taste.
