- 14.79 ml corn oil
- 236.59 ml green onion, thinly sliced
- 453.59 453.59 g venison or 453.59 g goat meat, cubed
- 1419.54 ml water or 1419.54 ml meat broth, divided
- 946.36 ml corn
- 4.92-9.85 ml ground red chili pepper, New Mexico if available
- salt
- cilantro
directions
- Heat oil in dutch oven.
- add green onionbs and saute briefly.
- Stir in meat and 3 cups broth. Simmer about 1 hour, stirring occasionally until meat is tender.
- Add remaining broth, chili, corn and salt. Simmer about 15 minutes more.
- Serve hot soup in bowls topped with cilantro.
