  • Add all ingredients in the pan according to the order in manufacturer’s directions.
  • Set crust on medium and program for the Basic cycle; press Start.
  • When the baking cycle ends, immediately remove the bread from pan and place on a rack.
  • Let cool to room temperature before slicing.

  1. i'm making this right now, but noticed there is no leavening agents like baking soda, baking powder or yeast. is this correct?

  1. I really like this recipe, not just for the ease of using the bread machine but the taste - it was not to sweet making it good with any meal not just as a sweet bread. I followed the directions except for adding 1 cup of chopped walnuts for the 2# loaf and it was wonderful and served warm with butter - yum, thanks for posting.
