I made this for some Christmas snacking this year, and was really surprised how delicious these two flavors are together! I used all real eggs, since I had lots of those and no egg substitute, and added a touch more flour. It made enough for 2 small loaves and some muffins. I will definitely save this recipe and use it next year when we have an abundance of both ingredients.
My husband made this. He lighthtened it a little more using less oil. He used yogurt instead of applesauce. This was tough to judge doneness on, so one loaf came out kind of mushy. But this has great flavor!
