ZOE'S APPLE CRISP

"My daughters famous apple crisp, she made a pan of this one day for a school project and after all of the schools staff were raving about it, she went into business making this for as high as $20 per pan! :) It is an easy surefire winner of a recipe!"

  • 2 (20 ounce) cans apple pie filling
  • 34 cup butter (no substitutions)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 14 cup oatmeal (regular not instant)
  • 12 teaspoon cinnamon

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Butter an 8in square baking dish. Spread apple filling in the bottom. Combine butter, sugar, and flour until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add oatmeal and cinnamon and mix again. Spread evenly over apples and bake until lightly browned about 35-45 minutes. Allow to cool slightly and serve warm with vanilla icecream on the side.
