I made this exactly by the directions except I added 3 tbs. finely minced sweet pickles. Spread it on some grain bread, stuck the sandwich in the toaster oven to toast, and 15 minutes later it not one crumb was left. Much like your ordinary tuna salad, but I loved the addition of the curry, one of my favorite spices. I did not add any salt. An easy quick tuna salad for curry lovers.

You had a great idea! This is my usual tuna salad, with the addition of some finely minced onion But, I loved it even more with the delicious curry powder. I'm not sure I'll ever eat plain tuna salad ever again.

I have been using curry powder in my tuna and chicken salad for some time now. It really does add a different and enjoyable flavor.

This was very easy to make! Curry and tuna go great together! I used
onion salt and omitted regular salt but next time would reduce the onion salt even more. Thx..

I'm using fresh yellow fin tuna. Thick slices, peppered, and grilled with hickory. Sear and mix in as per recipe. So much better than generic tuna salad!

Yumm. DD (toddler) and I ate this with rice crackers and the addition of chopped Lobo apple. I did not add any salt and would recommend not to. I liked the idea of less mayonnaise for which I used Helmans olive oil mayonnaise to be soy free. I used a sweet curry powder, Julie's Curry Powder Mix. For the onions I used shallots. I will make this again with or without apple.

This was made as a brown bag lunch for 2 and served with crisp crackers. I Enjoyed the fact there was a minimal amount of mayo and loved the addition of the curry powder.

Simple and delicious! I like to add in some diced apple because I LOVE the combination of apple and curry powder. Excellent as is though. I served it on baby spinach. Very healthy meal!

Ohhhh! This is so wonderful! I made just as the recipe is, but it was a bit salty(and I love salty). Next time, and there will be MANY next times, I will omit the salt. Thanks Love4culinary!

Delicious, love4culinary. I wanted to stretch my finished salad a little further so I added a chopped hard boiled egg. I think my standard tuna salad will always have curry powder in it from now on.

I really enjoyed this simple twist on the ordinary tuna salad. I did not add salt and I did add some Calcutta Heat to it. It was just what I wanted! Perfect!

An interesting, but good, way to put some pizzazz in tuna! I omitted the salt, which was the only change I made.

This is how I make tuna and I love the spicy curry flavor. Some suggestions- instead of chopping up an onion or using onion salt, I use 1 Tbsp dried minced onion. I also go heavy on the curry powder and omit the salt. I also like this with 1/4 c gren peas mixed in for color.

My first curry recipe. I liked and so did BF! I'd make this again, next time I'd serve with pita.

This was really good. I used the onion salt, and 1/4 tsp. regular salt. This made it a tad on the salty side (the way I like it, but probably too salty for some). Love the curry powder.

Wonderful recipe. I also served it on crackers, added a touch more curry and some diced dill pickles. My new tuna salad recipe. Thanks for posting.

My family enjoyed this salad on crackers served with potato chowder. The curry gave the tuna a nice twist. Thanks LC!
