Zesty Pasta Bake

November is the perfect month to heat things up!! Treat your family to a protein-packed macaroni-bake. Bake made with zesty tomato sauce and warm melted cheese. Quick and easy to make - you can enjoy this hearty meal in no time at all -

Ingredients:

Servings: 6

• 2 cups dry elbow macaroni
• 8 eggs
• 1 cup skim milk
• 1 (10 ounce) can condensed cheddar cheese soup
• ½ cup onion , finely chopped
• ½ cup green pepper , finely chopped
• 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
• 1 teaspoon dry mustard
• ½ teaspoon garlic powder
• cooking spray
• ¾ cup tomato sauce or ¾ cup pizza sauce or ¾ cup spaghetti sauce
• ½ cup cheddar cheese , shredded
• 2 tablespoons fresh parsley , chopped

Directions:

1. Cook macaroni, according to package directions; drain well.
2. Whisk eggs with milk and soup in a large bowl. Stir in onion, green pepper, Italian seasoning, dry mustard and garlic powder. Stir egg mixture into macaroni.
3. Spray a 2 1/2-quart casserole dish with cooking spray. Pour pasta mixture into casserole dish.
4. Bake in a 350F oven for 10 minutes; stir pasta mixture. Bake for another 10 minutes; stir pasta mixture.
5. Spread tomato sauce over pasta mixture. Sprinkle with cheese and parsley. Bake for 8 minutes or until top is bubbly and cheese is melted.
