This has all my favorite seasonings for olives, and has great flavor. I made this exactly as posted, including the dried red pepper flakes and used a combination of finely grated zest and large strips of zest. It really does need to marinate overnight, so you can't rush this, but it's well worth it. Love the lemony flavor! Made for ZWT 8.
Ok, I'm a dodo head and don't follow instructions very well. I admit I was under a time crunch when I made the olives. I made them the morning I was having a tapas party in the afternoon so they didn't flavor meld well by the time of the party but as I am writing this review the next morning, I'm eating the leftovers and they are really good. 5 star good where as they might have gotten a 3 star at the party. I'm not complaining though since I love all kinds of olives.
