This recipe is originally from a recipe for doughnut muffins, but I have used it to glaze many things, especially doughnuts!
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar, sifted
- 3⁄4 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoons hot water
- In a medium bowl, prepare the glaze by mixing together the melted butter, confectioners’ sugar, vanilla and water. Whisk until smooth.
What a coincidence! I used this recipe on blueberry muffins this (Sunday) morning. Saw it on a donut muffin recipe on here. Makes a lovely presentation. And I will use this again. But it didn't do much for blueberry muffins, don't understand why. Thanks for posting . . . . . Janet
