Directions

  1. put milk in blender.
  2. peel bananas and chop.
  3. add to blender.
  4. add honey and nutmeg.
  5. add ice cream.
  6. blend fast until smooth.
  7. pour into tall glasses.
  8. pop in a straw and serve.

I made a half-serve shared by two of us as our dessert this evening. Quick to make and very flavoursome. I used low-fat milk, as I've never found it makes any appreciable difference to flavour. And I added some pepitas and sunflower seeds - about a tablespoon - as I like adding some seeds to smoothies and shakes, both for the nutritional value and for the added flavour and - even after blending - slight crunch. Great blend of flavours! Thank you for sharing this recipe!
