  1. These WERE yummy! I forgot to add the sour cream and the sauce was still great-we just spooned it over some mashed potatoes. Thanks for posting, I will be making this dish again.

  2. OMG This is an incredible recipe. The sauce is to die for. I've been making recipes from RecipeZaar for years. I have found many that I love and make them over and over again BUT I've never taken the time to write a review. This recipe is soooo awesome that I had to take the time to let everyone in the community know about it. The only change I made was to cut the simmer time down. We don't like our pork well done - we prefer it medium. I browned the boneless chops on med-high, turned the heat to medium to make the sauce, put the chops back in the skillet, brought everything to a simmer, turned the heat down just a little, covered the pan and simmered for about 15 minutes.

  3. Yummy is an accurate description for these pork chops. DH cooked this and followed the recipe to the letter. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Don't be afraid to serve this to company - it makes a fabulous dinner with very little effort.

  4. 10 stars!!!! These were FANTASTIC!!! I followed the recipe, except for just a few minor changes...I used canned mushrooms because that is all I had, and I added about half of a small sliced onion and some sliced green pepper when adding the shrooms. I was a bit skeptical at first, as the vinegar smell was strong when they were cooking, but this is one of the best chop redipes I have had in a long time! Perfect over mashed potatoes! Thanks for posting!! ~Manda

  5. I used this recipe for the basis of the dinner I made tonight. I am sorry to say I had no balsalmic vinegar nor any sour cream, so I substituted cream of mushroom soup for the SC, mixed the rest of the ingredients together, placed atop pork chops in a buttered baking dish and baked for an hour or so. I turned out fine, but I am afraid my rating cannot be true to the original recipe, due to the omissions I made. It was still good though, and I served it with noodles, green beans and apples sauteed in butter with brown sugar and pecans. The family thought i knew what I was doing. Next time I will try the original, as I am curious.
