These were just OK to me. They tasted a little too much of "wheat flour". And they were a tad dry. But a good quick breakfast.

  1. Combine dry ingredients in large bowl.
  2. Whisk together the buttermilk, egg, and oil.
  3. Add to the dry ingredients, stirring to combine well.
  4. If batter is too thick, add additional water (maybe as much as 1/4 cup) till you reach the desired consistency.
  5. Cook pancakes as usual, on hot griddle until golden, turning once bubbles appear.
