My favourite fish pie recipe, which oesnt contain cream and is a good way to get veggies into my reluctant other half.

  1. Topping- Fill a pan with cold water, peel and chop potatoes into the pan.
  2. Boil for 20 minutes or until potatoes seperate when pierced with a fork.
  3. Mash potatoes with butter and nutmeg.
  4. Sauce- In another pan melt the butter, then add the flour and mustard to form a paste, gradually add the milk stirring continually to form a smooth sauce, add carrots.
  5. After 5 mins add the dill and cheddar to the sauce, take off the heat and stir.
  6. Filling- line the bottom of an oven proof dish with the spinach. Then place the fish fillets in the dish, cover with peas.
  7. Pour the sauce into the dish, ensuring an even coverage.
  8. Cover with Mash potato, then top with grated cheese.
  9. Cook on Gas Mark 6/ 400 Fahrenheit/ 200 Celsius for 35 minutes.
