- Mix well.
- Add apples and walnuts, mix together.

- Bake 40 to 45 minutes.
This cake is fabulous! I was worried when I was mixing it because after I added the dry ingredients I had what looked like a cookie dough instead of a cake batter. It was a bit hard to incorporate the apples and walnuts into this mixture and I had to spread and pat it into the pan instead of pouring it, but it ended up turning out wonderful. It is so loaded with apples and has a great texture. Thanks for sharing! P.S. I needed 45 minutes and I baked in a glass pyrex dish.
This cake is delicious! I made this for my DH yesterday and am going to make another today to bring to our school Staff Appreciation Day. Moist as can be. Thanks so much!
I made this APPLE CAKE and was a bit disappointed. As the other poster mentioned, the batter looked like a cookie dough, but somehow was fine when you lined it in pan. I felt the cake was a bit bland~not sweet enough, too! Perhaps needs more sugar and spice? Also, cooking time is definitely 45 minutes plus, as my cake was not cooked in well in center.
